Layoffs at DreamWorks

I really hate to hear this about DreamWorks because I like many of their movies and I also think they offer a very creative working environment. Unfortunately it seems that their movies have been doing well at the box office lately — which means they may have to lay off employees.

Rumors are circulating that there’s about to be layoffs at DreamWorks Animation.

Cuts are expected to come to the studio’s production, technology, and overhead departments, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Deadline is now reporting that the company may cut up to 500 employees in the coming months…”
